Energy & Environment

Working with industry to reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing and helping them to move towards clean and energy efficient processes
The mission of the Energy and Environment group is to provide companies and industries with expert advice on systems, tools and processes that can make their operations and products more sustainable. To this end, the group offers analytical services that help organisations to evaluate the environmental impact of their processes and products and to define an action plan to reduce this impact.
The analytical expertise of the group is focused on :
Energy Audits
This tool analyses the energy consumption of organisational operations and detects the processes and systems that are consuming large amounts of energy. The energy audit service is directed towards industry and private and public bodies.
Renewable Energy Feasibility studies and project implementation
Analysing the capacity for renewable energy generation and use, mainly in the areas of biomass and biogas, with a particular focus on forestry and agricultural applications.
Life Cycle Assessment – LCA
This assessment helps industries and the public sector make the most eco-efficient decisions by taking into account the environmental load of processes and products throughout their life cycle – from the cradle to the grave.
Environmental Impact Study
This analysis focuses on the environmental impacts of organisational processes in order to identify those that generate the most waste and deplete non-renewable resources. Assessment of Best Available Techniques.
Waste water analysis
This analysis uses HLPC techniques to determine the level of pollutants in waste water.
